Fabulous 2 weeks gold,gold and more gold

Well as usual we went many places these last 2 weeks and I did extremely well in my eyes. Although I did travel 2 hours to a destination only to come back empty handed, no worries though it was a nice ride anyway. Most of the silver was found at one stop for about 2.50. The little gold " pin" what's left of it, flea market find. And the show stoppers the 2 Jade pendants are both 14kt. The one about 25 miles south and the other was 25 miles north, and it was my first time at the one north. I paid 4.50 for the yellow jade and 15.00 for the green. Husband has shoulder surgery on Tuesday so we may be slowing down for a bit.....

High quality jade can fetch a nice price, I am no expert but I would guess that you did okay!

I think you can spot fake jade using a black light. Some very nice saves Gale, congrats!

HaHaHa Thank you, these are podunk towns around here. And people either don't know to look or just don't. Sometimes like the yellow jade, the mark is on the inside of the bale, not everyone knows this. Very odd that I found both jade in the matter of 2 days. But they both just screamed gold, especially the green one.

Thank you so much, I"m hoping it won't be as bad as his last surgeries have been, those were tough. This makes around the 7th just on his shoulders and he still has the left one to deal with after this, I feel so bad for him I couldn't do it myself :no:
