Congrats! Wheat pennies are a good find, especially the earlier dates, and can indicate you're getting on the right ground for other goodies.

And now: M-Petersen will progress to IH's. Then barbers and seateds. Then LC's. Then gold coins. Bucket listers will fly past ! Within a few years: Any gold coin *newer* than 1850 will bore him to tears. Eh ?

Congrats! I remember my first wheat cent still. That was so exciting. I found my first silver coin a barber dime soon after. Good luck and happy hunting!
