Supposedly one of the most upbeat, nicest guys in show business.
Those shows wouldn't have been the same without him.

i always liked any character he played. So sad to hear he's passed.

I met him once. It was about 30 years ago he came into a little 2 man print shop I worked at. Super nice guy. Very down to earth. In a lot of ways the character he played was not far from his real personality.
