Default Silver in the hole!

Got out for about an hour to a little spot I know had a house in the early 1900s, found some cool stuff but nothing great till this rang! Reads sterling and has the letter G engraved in the front. I believe it's part of a belt buckle any ideas?

Nice !! No other markings on the back huh ?
A few years ago I found one similar . It was made by a company called HICKOK. That might be one of theirs.....Although , I think mine had some markings on the back........
