Hitting the curbstrips this afternoon and dug another War Nickel. That's two days in a row. Normal clad, normal key and bus token. I was in front of an old apartment complex. A lady with too much time on her hands, comes out to tell me that she doesn't really think that I should be poking around like that. I was nicely explaining that i always respect the area and that the curbstrips are public, blah, blah, blah... I swing over a tight mid-tone and nonchalantly pluck out this gold ring. I transfer it to my hand and hold it tight, as I cover the hole and tell the lady that it was nice talking to her, as I pick up my digger and detector. I love the walk back to the car, when I know I have something sweet in my hand! I took these pictures once I got to my car. I stopped by the local jeweler on my way home. He straightened it up and gave it a nice shine. It fits! 5g of 14k. HH
