Yes I filed a police report within an hour of noticing the plate missing.

Had a room mate in college who had the same thing happen. What a pain. Hopefully someone will get pulled over using your stolen plates.

I have had a couple of motorcycle plates stolen while at work. I finally put it on with enough nuts that it would take some time to remove it. This time that just took some shears and cut off the sticker part. I guess that's all they needed.
