Feeling refreshed after a day off,so I went back this afternoon for another look.

Spent around two hours cruising up and down, only scored a few coins and the usual junk and was ready for home.

I decided to venture a little further north (about 200 meters) and here I worked the slope where the dry sand met the wet. Only the one target - boom 18ct band.

Guess who went home happy?

:dingding: It's got a little thickness to it as well - nice job!

I love when we make that little detour or 30 minutes more and Gold comes! Nice 18k!

Wow ! You make some consistent crazy finds down under there. Doesn't anyone else hunt down there ?

Amazing how consistent you are finding the yellow. Congrats on another beautiful ring!

Thanks,I think it's more about being consistent.
Last year I put in around 175 beach hunts and well over 600 hours of digging, I think I will beat that this year .. being retired though sure helps!
