Cape Cod ww2 bullets

Was detecting in the surf and came up with 2- 50cal bullets dated 1943. Incredible. I know the Germans were off the coast here on the cape but i never thought i would find relics from the war. Ill post pics soon. I dumped the powder out of one because it was still live. Believe it or not the powder was still dry.

i dont think so. Anyway i gave most of what i found to a vet from the war who was stationed on the beach where i found them ( see below)

I still have some cannon rounds I picked up diving on the target ship off wellfleet. You are right about the rounds staying dangerous. Cladius.
