It (at first questionably) turned out to be a nice sight in the scoop, but came too early. You know how that nice one shows up 30 minutes into what you planned to be a 5/6 hour hunt, it's either the start of something great or the Kiss Of Death.........KOD for me, spent the next 5 hours digging coin, sinkers, tabs and caps.
The ring really had a copper, maybe rose gold look in the sun, when I first saw it I thought, Junker!! But in my hand I could see it was well made, nice stone and had marks inside the band. Still, I Googled Shane Co. and found it selling without the center stone for several hundred as an engagement ring, the stone appears to be half carat.
