It (at first questionably) turned out to be a nice sight in the scoop, but came too early. You know how that nice one shows up 30 minutes into what you planned to be a 5/6 hour hunt, it's either the start of something great or the Kiss Of Death.........KOD for me, spent the next 5 hours digging coin, sinkers, tabs and caps.
The ring really had a copper, maybe rose gold look in the sun, when I first saw it I thought, Junker!! But in my hand I could see it was well made, nice stone and had marks inside the band. Still, I Googled Shane Co. and found it selling without the center stone for several hundred as an engagement ring, the stone appears to be half carat.

That's a sharp looking Gold!! Very Nice save!!

Thanks for the comments. It is nice to get a keeper that's worth posting for a change. Bands all look alike and are just headed for the melting pot. lol

Nice score there Dirty! That ring had to be awkward to wear though, with that big diamond poking up and all!
Yea, but look at the size of that mount, could of at least put a bigger, "in You Face," stone in it.,
