Metal guitar pick type necklace maybe?

I found this today while out detecting an old park (well, the park isn't all that old, but it used to be a farm, and based on some of the finds, it's been used for quite awhile)

It looks like a guitar pick, but it's drilled out, and after cleaning it up a bit I saw what appears to be writing on it.

Any thoughts?

What is the size? It's shaped exactly like a modern guitar pick but I suspect it wasn't made to resemble one purposely... my two cents lol
