Today's hunt produced two more firsts!! A 1907 Indian and a .925 silver ring!! Almost missed the Indian as it was deep (about 11") and in the side of the hole. I need to tweak my Deus to get a little more depth out of it for those deeper targets.
My son (forum member JGFB416) had just walked over to borrow my Sampson shovel and gave me a big high five once I identified the find. Sharing these moments with him is without a doubt my favorite part of this hobby!
The ring came in like a clad quarter. I was pumped when I saw the width and realized it was a ring. It's my second ring and my first .925.
Pics forthcoming once I can get them loaded over to photobucket (my phone is having trouble loading right now for some reason).

Congrats on the first IH and Silver Ring. A even bigger congrats for the sharing with your son. Looking forward to seeing the Pictures. Jack
