2 mercs and a big a$$ 925 😀

Got out for an afternoon hunt today at the property where I work. Within 10 minutes I hit a loud 22/23 on the nox thinking it was an aluminum screw cap, but I had hunted this area 4 or 5 times before so I just went ahead and dug it. Boy was I surprised to see the satin shine of silver in the hole! This chunker weighs in at a little over 43 grams. I also got two mercs: a 1935 and a really deep 1929. I ended the day with 3 wheats and $2.57 in clad. The two mercs brings me to 20 for the year. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Vic! I work maintenance for an old resort. Dates back to the early 1900s.

SCORE!! Those curly shaped links with the turquoise inlay kind of resemble water waves. Looks like a really cool surfer style bracelet. Probably worth more than 43 grams of sterling!

Thanks! I’ve been hunting about once a week or so, but have only found a silver bere and there and haven’t been posting every find.

I think there is. It has mexico then under that it has 925 and then under that it has what looks like a lower case r then a lower case m and the numbers 275. I’ll try posting a pic. Thanks!

Thanks! It’s definitely not painted on. I’m not very familiar with turquoise, it looks like some type of turquoise colored plastic embedded in black epoxy maybe?

I bet its inlaid turquoise like this piece. Same hallmarks. I think it says TM-275.
