I'm new here and to detecting even thou I've owned a Tesoro Tiger Shark for 2 1/2 yrs.. I had too many irons in the fire until just a bit ago. I've been learning a lot reading books, forums and You-tube videos. No one I know or my friends think much of detecting until I relate stuff I've found in my reads, yet they don't care to try it. It's too hot; too wet; too many bugs;what about snakes and their list just shows they don't ever want to leave their cofort zone, ie, house. My tools are: the Tiger Shark, Lesche hand digger, Predator "Parahna" shovel, Garrett Pro- Pointer AT and a stainless steel long handle sand scoop that I made. I live in Fort Myers, FL; willing and ready for beach and relic hunting with in 1 or 2 hr. drive.
