Had a fun Valentine hunt... Went a few blocks down the road, parked on the side of the street, and went curb hunting. Only hit five houses worth of curbs and the third was a little silver mine. Pulled out a 1943 and 1945 Merc. Also, what I believe to be a silver napkin ring with the initials TCW on it. Also picked up 4 wheaties, 57 and 58 nickles, and a bunch of other clad along the way.

Looked into a silver test to find out if the napkin ring is silver. Well, it passed the bleach and ice test. So, even though it doesn't have any stamps or markings, I'm pretty sure it is solid silver.

Thanks... I haven't been hunting curbs much lately. I've been going to old parks that I have hit before with some good luck. In the hope that my new EQ 800 would pull out some overlooked treasure. It did, but not as many as I had hoped. So back to the curb I go until I can find some new haunts to hunt.
