AT Max/Pro VDI question

I've had a few between 38-40, chains, and small hoop earrings... Seems the VDI on anything pretty much stays the same until its too deep, then it becomes an iron grunt..

Absolutely. I made this VDI video many years ago and plan on refilming with a Max.

Anyways go to approx. 4:30 mark and watch 14K Gold earring.

Good vid. Setting disc to 35 max would be best?

Not everyone agrees with this, but those who have found the most gold in the water will...

No disc, nothing notched out, iron audio off, pro zero, full sensitivity... Listen to everything, eventually you'll understand why hearing all is important...

I should do some experimenting but let me ask...

Would you have a mid-tone even though VDI shows a lower number?

Not sure I understand your question..

But the tone break on iron is set at whatever the disc is set at, so if you are not running any disc, with iron audio on, all iron sounds with a mid tone...

With my settings, mid tones stop around 37 or 38...
