I found this coin today, I thought it was another King George II. However, the date is on the rear at the bottom in small print which is different that my other coin. Also, there seems to be a T then an A on the side left of rear.

Here is a photo of the coin and I highlighted some things that I was able to see.

Any help would be VERY much appreciated! Thanks

Cool.

If the flashlight trick doesn't work, tumbling it might help.

Tumbling will not hurt it's value at this point.

The date looks like it says 1738, not 1745. Definitely KGII.

On the other side of the reverse, if you look REALLY closely, you will see and "N" after the "TA" and on the right hand side, the "NIA" that finishes off the word "BRITANNIA"
