Carol,

If elected, I will change the rules. :lol:

Here are some of the things I have in mind:
  1. Public lands will become metal detectorist friendly.
  2. Federal metal detecting permits, after a proficiency test, will allow holder to hunt in all city, county and state parks, with a single permit.
  3. Revenues from the federal permit will be used to seed parks with old coinage. Hey it works for trout fishermen. :D
  4. Government will go back on the gold & silver standard. No more printing unbacked money to run a massive deficit. Best of all, the US mint will go back to minting silver & bronze coinage. No more clad!
  5. Unprovoked attacks on a metal detectorist will carry the same penalty as an attack on a peace officer.
  6. Gas money spent going to/from a metal detecting site will be tax deductible.
A vote for Rudy is a vote for the hobby! ;)
 
Hey Rudy if I vote for you can I come detect in the white House yard ?
Might be good hunting in the rose garden too . HH Harold
