I found this parking token today marked “Golden Circle Validated Parking”. I found it about 3” down beside a set of stairs in a local park. Can anyone tell me more about these tokens or know what years they were used?

Is that what it looked like right out of the ground!?

Someone on Ebay says they are from the 1960's.

Yes I just wiped it with my gloves and blew the dirt out of the center. It sounded like pull tab. My best guess is that it’s made of gold plated spring steel, it feels similar to the reeds inside a 2 stroke dirt bike engine. I’ve walked drill bits across spring steel without scratching it, cobalt bits work well though.
