My first water gold and it's 14k

Although Worm and I did our usual sunday hunt for silver, we both got skunked. So after I got home I took the kids to a nearby creek. This place has about 100 feet of smooth, slippery rocks that you can slide down. This is a popular place for the locals and has been for years. So I got the nox in there and my third target after a quarter and a bobby pin was a solid 12 and my second or third scoop got it. I really need to get a real scoop!

Nice work on the gold toad.

I used a cheap plastic scoop for a long time. I eventually ordered a stainless steel one off Amazon - it was stupid expensive!

Great job on the gold. That sieve is working for you. You should see my first scoop, it wasn't pretty but it worked until I got a real one.
