I have been itching to get back to a little spot for a while now, it's quite a fair hilly walk through the sandhills for this "Oldie" .. Anyway today I made the effort!
There was a nice deep slope on the beach and plenty of targets to keep my interest up!
Scored a mixed bag including a silver ring and a 375 gold ring.
So the walk back was much more enjoyable!

I have found quite a few of these buttons on the beach.They are marked EXCELSIOR.
I wonder if they are US army, a lot of your soldiers were based here in Australia during WWII?

Everything is not all that it looks. In the past 7 days, I have had 5 beach hunts. Four of them turned out to be just really bad finds days, only this hunt was productive.
Not complaining though, the best part for me is the fresh air & solitude!
