Hi, I'm going to be moving to Huntington Beach, Ca. in a few months and I will be living about a mile from the water. I'd like to hook up with someone that has some experience to show me the ropes.

I worked the area around the pier a few weeks ago but didn't find much. May need to wait until summer time when people start showing up and loosing things.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm way old and will be living in a mobile home park but I can still get out there and do some hunting. Maybe we can hook up when I get settled.

I was going to buy one down near the beach but just couldnt find one in good condition at the time so I drive the 45min. down there.
I usually get down there when conditions are right but they havent been right for some time now unfortunately.
Well I know where to find you and you-me... maybe we can get together on a hunt sometime.

Well i hit the manhattan beach pier today (somewhere between venice and huntington, it was my first real day out. I thought i did all my homework, however i only found 16 cents :no:

i fully know how to use my detector there simply must not have been much out there. hope you have better luck
