Hi everyone. I finally found my first ring today! I'm sure it's probably costume jewelry :laughing: but still I am so pumped to find my first ring. It has 925 engraved inside. Just wondering if there is anyway to figure out if it could be real or if it's even worth it to check with the local jewelry shop? Any opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone! :D

What a beautiful first ring! By my understanding, jewelry marked .925 is sterling silver. I'd say it's definitely worth getting checked out! Even if it's costume, it's a lovely find, but it sounds to me that your first ring is a silver one! :clapping:
 
Big congrats on your first silver ring! 925 means sterling silver, or 92.5% silver, or .925, or 925/1000 all the same..

Nice first ring. Congrats. My first was a bubble gum machine ring. Found a big sterling one a few weeks back.
