I went detecting at a house built in 1900 today. The homeowner bought a Garrett 300 from my buddy John Gurley from DigThatBeep. I had knocked on his door two years ago but he told me no. I got a private message at friendly metal detecting forums last week saying did you dig my yard?? I said maybe who is this?? Turns out it was a buddy of mine who had hunted it before. We got to talking and he let me hunt today and I had to show him a few tips like pin pointing etc. I found 5 wheaties, a 1941 Merc which I gave him and a sweet holed 1918 Canadian dime

Congrats on getting that permission and adding two more Silvers to the count. The old Canadian Dime looks pretty nice. Very nice of you to help share this hobby to a newcomer. Trapper

I’m no Trapper but I still find a silver from time to time lol!
Nice saves!

I love those little 19 "teens" Canadian dimes, one of my favorite foreign coins:yes:

Ty matmit, it’s only my second Canadian silver coin
