Default 160-year old bucket lister!

This morning I went in to work for a few hours to get caught up without distractions (Saturday).
On the way home, I visited a school where they were replacing the parking lot.
Since it was about 95 degrees, I knew it would be a short hunt today.

First target was a clad dime, then an old button.
I worked my way around the other side and got a nice 58-60 repeatable near the flagpole.

Never did I suspect it would be an 1858 FLYING EAGLE!!

I honestly thought I would never find one of these, but here it is.

Happy Hunting Everybody

All I found was a clad dime, quarter, two memorials and this
I guess they scraped off everything else...

Fantastic find - congrats on a great hunt!

I'm still looking for one of those - a Flying Eagle cent is pretty high up on my bucket list.

Yes they are quite scarce and hard to find, but not as rare as I thought:

1856 2,000
1857 17,450,000
1858 24,600,000
