Default Xterra 505???

Never had one, but wondering if they are any good as a lower end unit? Our CL has one for $350 NIB. Any ideas?

I would consider them like AT pro. middle of the road machine!!

Minelabs are good machines.. make sure you test if before buying.

They work well. Some even prefer them because of where the tone breaks are when not using 19 tones.

Recovery is slower than a First Texas machine, and likely a Garrett, but faster than a FBS machine. Going slower finds more.

Honestly, $350 isn't a killer deal. You can buy them all day long for $399.
I got my 705 off CL for $300 LN in the original box.
