I will be traveling from Texas to Florida in early November, taking I-10, but straying a little off course for a good spot is ok. I am looking for places along the way to detect. Someone to detect with would be great too.
I have been to several CW Forts along the way, but they don't allow detecting. Somewhere nearby sounds good. I believe they all saw some action during the Civil War, and some were used during the Spanish American and WWI and WWII as military facilities.
Anyone have any suggestions??
