I'm kinda still new to MD'ing. I have a BH pioneer 202, 4 years ago I plenty of time to search old city parks with little luck, but I'm not discouraged. I don't have the funds to buy a new detector so I plan to get good with this one first. I plan to hunt the beaches and old town sites near Galveston. Our clay down here might give me trouble. Any tips on hunting in this type of soil using this detector?

My in-laws have a condo in Galveston and I stay there once or twice a year. I have always had good luck in the parks and beachs there.
