How do you carry you're tools ???

Since this thread started, I have even gone to a lighter setup. The only thing missing in the picture is my coin probe.

I wear a bucket boss apron with a Lesche holster on the belt strap, unless I am scooping, then the Lesche is in my cars trunk.

I am planning on switching to a ProPointer soon so I'll go to a smaller junk/keep pouch setup with the two holsters (Pointer and Lesche)

I use-

A plastic one gallon paint can, it holds the Pro-Pointer, 2 digging tools, 2 screwdrivers, rag, gloves, knife for tough roots, mini flaslight, mini M&M's container for the coins, spare batts, and a bottle of water. Other metal goes in the bottom of the bucket for sorting/disposal later...

Just put my digger in my back pocket and coins in my front pocket. Trash in my hoody pouch unless there is a trashcan nearby then I just immediately dump it. But will probably need to start carrying my small bucket because its getting into nicer weather.

The camo bag I use for trash and the black bag I use to carry my pin pointers and finds I am keeping. It has a mesh bottom so the dry fine dirt and sand falls through. There is a small pouch next to the camo bag that I carry spare batteries in. This setup works pretty good for me.

I also carry an ice cream scoop. Sometimes when I dug a small hole with the popper I use it to pull the coin out.

Nice thread you started here. After falling over on my butt, and looking really stupid rolling around in the dirt:no::lol: while trying to get up from digging, I had the brilliant idea. Why not build a box to carry all my junk in, and also have a handle I can use to help me up. I'm so embarrassed, but my knees are shot and I need a little help to get up. Not much, just a spot to assist.

So, I thought I'd do one search before starting the new thread....and there you were. I like your tote and just wonder if it would work?? If not, I bet it could be modified. The bucket ideas are good too. So, off to Lowes and H.D. today to see what they might have. I love the walker, too, and have great respect for people that "won't give up". God bless em.

Riffmeister, I went to LOWES today and bought one of the totes like yours. $13 and what a deal. I am going to reinforce the handle support for a little more support and probably add some hooks for a shoulder strap. I may post a picture when it's done. Thanks for the ideas.

I have a nylon belt that goes with this. Just my Fiskars, case knife and screw driver used for a probe. The probes getting replaced eventually. I just use a cloth nail pouch for trash and any keepers go in the pockets.
