I am about to start coin roll hunting, not to add to my collection, but to sell my finds. Question is, how do I sell all my silver finds and do I need to report this on my taxes next year?

Hit the American Recycling Associates (ARA) website. They pay 90% of current melt/spot value. On gold, they pay 98%. Their website has all the phone #s and information......

It's up to the Secretary of the Treasury. Right now, melting pennies and nickels is a no-no........Many Morgan Silver dollars were melted down years ago. One reason they fetch high prices nowdays....

You could also sell them right here on the forum in the Classifieds section,

Also try Craigslist.org

I'd try and see if you could get a fair price from someone other than a refinery first. I just hate the idea of melting down old coins. Sure some are relatively common, but you can never remake them. So every one that gets melted down is one less in the world.
