First hunt in new farm field. Was just planning on scouting it and looking for iron patches. Walked toward the nearest high ground and started getting iron. First signal was a shotgun shell headstamp. Next one was really high but kinda scratchy in some directions. Was thinking iron ring. Boy was I wrong. Fresh from the mint Barber half:shock:

Still on my bucket list after more than 30 years of dirt fishing. Beautiful coin. Looks like it might grade around VF-35 to XF-40
