Last night I hit this obvious cellar hole along a back road. I'm sure it has been hunted for decades. I actually was there in 1974.
In an hour and some change, I managed a 1915 wheat back, small crotal bell and a civil war era military button. The 7/8" button says Excelsior on it. Could have been New York Militia.
