Our beach is finished--for now

Yesterday's rains and high winds have sanded in my local beach. Several feet of sand covering the "treasure" layer. Can't get a signal anywhere. Temps in the 90s forecast for this weekend so there should be some fresh drops soon. :grin:

Don't feel bad at least your sanding was natural.
They pumped thousands of yards of sand out of the river channel and filled my favorite beach with tons and tons of sand and grit.

I'm 51, I'll be dead before it ever clears again. . . :tissue:

Condolences! Great pics though...All that sand had to come from somewhere, maybe Irons' spot? :laughing:

They used to "nourish" the Beverly Shores beach west of me years ago before it was Federal land so I know exactly what you're saying.

Be thankful you will get some fresh drops. With the red tide here our beaches are totally empty!
