The one I borrowed did pretty well in the test garden right on par with a t2 and deeper than the macro racer 2 and nokta fors core I tested. It had to be put in all metal to run at the depths the deus gets in disc mode. All in all pretty deep detector but the AUDIO killed any positive reviews from me. Garrett could have put a iron vol on it and it would have helped it out. If you are using it in a relic situation where you need to hear the iron your in trouble as far as having any sanity remaining after listening to the iron..... ..Yes all metal is really deep as you can see in the videos I did but check out the video I did in all metal with disc cut on... the all metal is a useless feature at a relic site if your DEPENDING on the disc and audio of the machine to tell you ferrous or non ferrous... imo So the boast about all metal being so deep well it is, but its useless for relic sites where iron is .....unless your digging every nail and such. I saw all those super air test in all metal mode before it was released.....it air test about 9 1/4 inchs on a silver dime in disc mode.....if that gives you any idea compared to other detectors. You guys can see my depth videos and my soil is mild and some detectors can get almost air test depths here. BTW FIRST TEXAS, GARRETT, TESORO,AND WHITES PLEASE QUIT REPACKAGING YOUR DETECTORS AND GIVE US SOMETHING NEW! BTW heres the all metal mode being tested with disc....
