1. Is it .925? Or just not silver at all?
2. What specific religion does it represent?
3. Who made this medal?

I detected it at a local park.
 
It doesn't look like silver to me. Silver comes out of the ground looking, well, silvery.

It's a St. George medal, he's the patron saint of the Coast Guard among other things. Saint medals are normally Catholic, or the Patron Saints recognized by Catholics I should say. However, many people wear or carry Saint medals for their work, or other purposes. ( St. Michael for police officers, soldiers, St. Christopher for travelers, etc. )

Many companies make these types of medals, if they're not marked there's not much telling who made them.
