First hunt since lumbar surgery & I find silver.

Yesterday was my first hunt since having a lumbar fusion last October, actually
my first hunt in about 2 years. I had been eyeing this old slab behind an ESSO
gas station for some time now so decided to try my luck. Walked around & saw
a black round disc lying on top of the ground, looked like a quarter so I picked it up, wiped some of the black film off & it was getting shiny! Silver Quarter,
1964 yeah baby a surface find. Also found a clad quarter, 1967 nickel, 2 dimes
and 9 junky zincolns, also a " no cash value " token, had to dig for those, lol.
All in all a great "first" hunt, I left happy. BTW my back feels fantastic.

Yes, feels good just to get out & do things again w/o being in constant pain.
I'm only sorry I didn't get this surgery sooner, now I'm actually looking forward
to the "to do" list which has gotten very long. Thanks everybody for all the positive responses. HH.

Very few people have successful back surgery. Please for your own sake, take it easy. Make it last !

Had L4/5 done in back in 93. No Fusion. Then had C5/6 and C7/T1 done with fusion Took much longer to recover from the back surgery than it did for the neck. Had to rehabilitate my right leg as i was close to losing use of it. But once i recovered i do just about anything that i want.
