Other than gold in Israel, what other stuff would you probably spend the most time looking for? Beaches, Coin shooting parks & schools, Relic hunting or prospecting? Would the gold in Israel be large and deep, or small and shallow? Could make a big difference on what you need.

I'm looking in this price range also. With some research on the interweb I was able to come up with the Tesoro Cibola. I bought a Garrett Ace 250 for my Mom for X-Mas, which worked well for me in the back yard (6 pennies in 45 minutes:spin:). I like it but I don't want two of the same machines under one roof. Check out Tesoro's website, here's the link...

I'm a newbie, and I hope I'm not talking out of my butt, so we need the advice of the seasoned veterans. Please help us!!

I have superclean 4 mos old cibola, $280 shipped cracked scuff trying to clean, small tick mark before 5c disc.
