Dear friends, we wish to make you aware of certain events that have transpired over the past few days
and of the steps we have taken to safeguard the forum and its members.
A few days ago, Coin Master posted a thread in Help To ID My Finds which contained photographs of
some ceramic frogs sporting male and female human genitalia that he bought at a flea market or such.
Clearly a violation of our rules. His thread was removed as soon as we became aware of it and one
of our administrators sent him a Private Message calling him on it. Coin Master's reply was argumentative,
equating his purchased ceramic frogs to finds such as peep tokens that have been actually found by our
members while detecting. But not only was he argumentative and unrepentant, he also was insulting to
the administrator, including some four letter words in his response. That we could not condone and had
no choice but to ban him from the forum, initially for a 30 day period.
A short while later, Coin Master sent us an email wherein he admitted that posting the pornographic frogs
was a test of what he could get away with. "The frogs were more or less a test to see of what could stand
on the forum."
He also posted this in another forum --under the name of DiggingIllinois-- "Over the winter boredom got
the better of me and out of my immaturity I decided to turn the Everything Else section into my personal
playground."
By this time you may be wondering why we are sharing this information with you. Well, things have gone
beyond a simple banning for due cause.
Yesterday, another new member --not aware of the long history with the Coin Master drama threads--
questioned the ban, but he used the same exact words as used by Coin Master himself in an earlier email
to us. He had clearly been coached by Coin Master into making his post. We have also received several very
rude emails --purportedly from other forum members-- questioning the banning of Coin Master. These emails
did not come from those members, they were counterfeit.
Lastly, we have received an attack threat via email which I'll share with
We have to take this threat seriously and take appropriate security precautions including switching to a manual
new registration approval so we can properly vet new memberhip requests. In the process, we found Coin Master
registered with a new identity which was quickly made inoperative. We now have Coin Master's telephone, his
address in Galesburg Ill and his parents name. In case of an attack on the forum we will give this information
to the appropriate cyber crime federal authorities. We are taking other measures and we'll communicate them,
if necessary, to our membership.
One thing we will not do is to cave to this blackmail and reinstate Coin Master. He is now banned for life.

This user of FMDF..do to the corse of this matter I am keeping anonymous. This email disposable
and will cease to exist after message is communicated to yoo.
Since you banned comrade Coin_Master, without so much as letting him say he sorry, you have left
me no choice but to enlist in the help of the Hacker Group Anonymous. These are elight team of hackers
who have systematickly shut down many websites in past.
Between 3/25 to 3/31, the forum be shut down. All users coming to site will reach a black page. Not one
person,be-it administrator or owner, will be able to log into site.
You have til 6pm, Thursday, 3/22, eastern standard time zone to reinstate his membership to forum.
Failure to do this will cause the site to be in total blackout from 3/25 to 3/31.
This is not laughing matter, this very serious, if you wish to ignore this you have no choice but two suffer
your own ignoreance.
You been worned.
Goodbye.
