I live in an area that was the tiniest of towns until 1980, so finding relics can be a serious challenge. Not that I don't like clad, but the old stuff is most fun to dig up. Did a quick hunt today and netted another Merc! 1945 S and probably the best condition merc I have pulled. Also pulled $2.56 in clad, 4 wheats 1946S, 2x 1944, and a 1920. Dug a tie pin which my wife said was really creepy looking..... Hurd/Bargman Detroit Mich key, fake gold ring, and unknown object. Thanks for looking and happy hunting!~

Congrats on your silver and wheats.. You never know what you will find.. HH

You have some pretty nice finds there.

When I get a silver sprinkled with wheats I feel quite content.

And then you got a bonus with that tie pin (or whatever it is). It's pretty cool looking you got to admit.
