So today I headed out to a few houses today and got no answer from the first three I went to and I was about to give up but decided to go ask one more house. So I walked up to the house and knocked and waited for a minute or two and started to leave right when the owners rolled up and asked what I wanted and I told them that I was interested in detecting their property and after just a few seconds of chatting with them they said yes so off I went detecting my first permission. Spent a few hours there but to my surprise no silver from the 1870's home....but I did find a few other goodies.

I ended up with a CW three ringer, a glass mason jar lid, a 1911 wheat penny, 1905 V nickel, and my oldest coin ever a 1896 V nickel. I also found this blank silver looking disk that is a bit smaller than a dime but I cannot see any markings on it.
