Corpus Christi for Thanksgiving

It looks like I will be going to Corpus for the Thanksgiving weekend to visit family. Does anyone want to get together for a day of digging. I have never been there with my detector and would like to try some new territory.

Friday would be best for me but I can be a bit flexible.

While visiting family in C.C., we went to the USS Lexington aircraft carrier. Ironically, the most memorable part of the trip, was this was the first place a water-hunter took the time to stop and in a friendly way explain MD'g to me. When I returned home, I ordered my first detector.

Anyhow, near the ship, he was searching knee deep in the waters and found some great targets.

Unfortunately my ATPro is not the best salt water machine so I don't think I will be getting in the water this trip. A better machine is definitely in the future so maybe next time. This time dry sand or dirt is the order of the day.

I'll post if I find anything.
