I started on the Wabash river today at a place called little turtle. This point of the Wabash is so shallow you can walk half way across and not get your feet wet. I started out working the grooves/cuts in the bedrock. Did well finding clad. I started to wonder west down the bank i stumbled upon an old bottle dump. Further down the way the Wabash meets the EEL river. Hunted there for a while found Dog tags. Golf balls a few more coins and lead sinkers. Not bad for 5 hours.

That's a good first water hunt. Keep hitting it because it seems like a spot where you can find some old targets and some jewelry.
