Today was family day at the beach so we packed up the truck and headed to the beach we got married on. I figured it was only fitting that I try to claw back some of the money we forked out to get hitched at this place! My wife and daughter played in the sand while I played in the rocks and water. (Incidently my stealth scoop is seriously banged up from hunting rocks all the time). I managed my first silver of the year in a 1959-67 Japanese 100 yen (60% silver) I found 3 others that were the later 67- copper nickel coins. I also found my 2nd gold of the year and its a tiny one. 1.8g with no markings that tested good for 14k. Not sure what the center stone is. Looks black in most light but very dark blue in other. Ill take it. The old spoon and tootsie toy are from a hunt with Bruce. We need a good storm to move some sand out!
