Being born and raised in Mineral Co. I can tell you I have seen many snows like that , and thanks I'll take mine medium well .

I grew up in Michigan. When people are driving here in Illinois and they see ice they yell "Oh $H1T". When people from Michigan are driving and see ice they hand their beer to their buddy and say watch this $h1t!

Reminds me of a story of someone I know who decided to see what would happen if he used his emergency brake on a parking lot of glare ice.
He lost control and hit one of those cement parking blocks.

Sorry your friend wasn't from Michigan!
He was born and raised here in Wisconsin and is actually a good driver. He just got overconfident and wanted to try something stupid I guess.
