First Seated Liberty Dime and Another King George weekend

What a beautiful day to hit the field. Found a KG III and a very thin Seated Libert Dime (my first). As well as an Indian Head and some great relics. Fantastic Patina on the KG

congratz on your first seated. And I see the photo is littered with the right "age indicators" that would have any md'r "sitting on the edge of his seat" knowing an old coin can't be far behind. And I love the green patina of the kgIII.
 
Always amazes me when some one pulls great finds From acres of open field .
Was there a old home onthe site ? Congrats , good work diggin it out. HH

This has been a great area, 2 coppers, Seated Quarter and Dime, Hald full of Indians, CW Buttons. You name it this place has a ton of history. That petina is amazing

I agree, my last KG was pretty toasted

This was a colonial landing site and later a house resided in the field and was seen on my map in 1896 and gone by 1908. The property also housed 148 slaves by 1812. In this case the research is paying off
 
That's not a King George. If I were to guess I'd say French King Louis Jeton. (young head)
