Is calling the EOD a common occurrence with your hunts? Like do you have them on speed dial?

Hi,
Yes it is ok, in couple of hours EOD guys come and neutralize everything. If the child or someone will find all those bombs and they dont have any knowledge and they will start to touch it, it can end badly.
If you are following to this topic, there is everything explained, we dont joke with that, and our legislation about weapons and bombs is very strict.

That's great you are making the land a safer place and uncovering history at the same time.
Have you found many land mines? That's what I would be afraid of.
Please stay safe. :hornetsnest:

On small ordinance like hand granades, troblones, mortars, small caliber shells and similar EOD is looking for general condition of the ordinance, age, psyhical damage...
On big ordinance they dont take chanses because explosive material is going to cristalize over the years. Meaning it is not stable anymore - not even for storing - waiting for deactivation! In few words it could go of laying there without any manipulation. Therefore big ordinance is destroyed on spot
