That is still sooooo sweet. I envey you good folks that can hunt is a area that has so much history and goes back so very far.

jeff..well its just what your used too thats all..we take hammiered coins as pictured in this thread for granted. roman coins are as common here as your wheaties etc..i must admit though i love hammies...still get a buzz after finding my first one 30 years ago...at the end of the day it doesnt matter what you find as long as it makes you happy to find it..
 
Jeff,your coins over there are just as interesting to us as ours are to you,and im yet to find a roman coin but when i do you lot will be the first to know.I would love to go detect in the States,who knows,maybe i will someday
