Hi Diggers,
Here is a photo collage of my better Roman finds this year. Most of the Roman coins I dig are completely fried but a few come out looking decent. The oldest is Emperor Trajan and was minted between A.D. 98 - 117. The newest is Magnentius the Usurper and they were minted A.D. 351 - 353. I love digging the Roman spikes and nails! The fibula was found in 2 pieces (& not in very good shape) but the Roman goddess Venus is a real beauty. I traded it to another detectorist for a 1729 gold coin.
