New to the forum - live in Athens AL just outside of Huntsville. Blessed to work as a sales rep and have a lot of windshield time so I can usually sneak some time to swing the coil each week around sales calls.

Always open to helpful suggestions on places to target and creative ways to research.

Would love to connect with anyone in the area!

welcome from Atlanta. several years ago went with my son to pick up a springer spaniel pup in west huntsville. Hey some good hills/mountains in those areas. Maybe do some research on find cellar holes.

Look at Green Mountain Metal Detecting videos on youtube. Brad hunts the mountains in vermont all the time and finds lots of cellar holes.

Look for old crumbled down stone walls. also ask some locals if they know of any old home sites in the hills. If Alabama is like Georgia, no any colonial sites but some from the mid 1800's.
