Does anyone know what this might mean?

I am using some 1868 maps of Upstate New York and one of the farmstead sites I have detected a little bit had four buildings on it. One was marked "Store House"; the other is the original house marked with the name of the family that lived there (that is still standing); the other is marked "dairy barn" and the fourth is marked simply with the initials "W.H.".

I have seen this "W.H." on other maps from the time period in other nearby areas.

My guess is "well house." But that's just a guess.

Thanks for the help!

Couldn't really tell the size of the building. But I am pretty sure it means well house after I went back out there. Found where the dairy barn was too.
