only been md'n 1 week,

yesterday at a park i found a bronze soccer medal and my first and second silver rings! I had to go back, and SCORE! a standing liberty quarter. date is worn off, and detail is lost, but im really happy.

First off.... WELCOME!! and you are sure off to a great start! What type of a park area you hunting?? Mind saying what part of the country you are in?

area

this is a park in the north suburbs of the twin cities, has a ice rink, soccer fields, baseball, playground,... the standing liberty was in heavy trash between some oak trees. funny cause the park is late 70's to mid 80's, but this area with trees was never bulldozed.

Congrats on some nice silver endmill! I must have missed your introduction post so welcome to the forum. Nice to see another Minnesota hunter on the forum and fairly close to where I'm at. If you are in the northern suburbs (Blaine, Fridley, Coon Rapids, Anoka?) I'm not too far away in the Isanti County area.
